Flavored
-
Flavored coffee refers to coffee beans (green, roasted, or ground) that have additional flavoring agents added to them beyond the natural flavors developed through growth, processing, and roasting. (In contrast, natural notes like chocolate, citrus, floral etc. from terroir/roast are not “flavoring.”

These flavorings can be natural extracts, essential oils, spices, herbs, or synthetic compounds. They can be applied at various stages: after roasting, during storage, or even during processing or drying of the green beans.
